Pre-cast · Ready to paint
Crafting moments into memories.
Premium, non-toxic cast letters and figures, cast by moonlight and finished by you.
i — the raw form
Every keepsake begins as a blank canvas.
Crisp white letters, cast smooth and waiting. No instructions, no screen to follow — just quiet possibility resting on the table.
ii — the spark of colour
Then the paint pots open.
A handful of paint pots, sized to your kit, plus two brushes to get going. Small hands choose boldly; grown-up hands slow down and breathe.
The magic of creation
Every set is cast by hand, then finished by yours.
iii — the finished memory
A name, made by the hands it belongs to.
Painted letters take pride of place on the shelf — a small monument to an afternoon spent together.
After bedtime
Not just for little hands.
A cast, a brush, and an hour of moonlight. Painting casting powder is the slow kind of quiet — no notifications, just the soft scratch of bristle on stone.

Privacy Policy
Moonlight Casts ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based small business making personalised, hand-cast keepsakes and party favours. This page explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect:
- Your name, delivery address, and email address
- What you ordered, including any personalisation details you provide (such as a name to cast, or a tag message)
- Order history and communications you send us, such as customer service enquiries
We never see or store your full card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor, on their own secure page. Your card number never passes through our website or servers.
Why we use it
- To process and fulfil your order, including arranging delivery
- To contact you about your order if needed
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records
- To improve our products and service
Who we share it with
We share the minimum information necessary with:
- Stripe, to process payment securely
- Our delivery/courier provider, so your order can reach you
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
We keep order and customer information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, handle any after-sales questions, and meet our legal obligations (for example, UK tax law generally requires financial records to be kept for at least 6 years).
Cookies
This site currently uses only the essential technical data needed to make the basket and checkout work. We do not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated to explain what's used and how to control it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information, where we're not required to keep it
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your information
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [add your contact email]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

Terms & Conditions
These terms apply whenever you order from Moonlight Casts ("we", "us", "our") via this website. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Who we are
[Your business name / trading name, and business address]. Contact us at [add your contact email].
Our products
Every kit and cast is made by hand, to order. Where you provide personalisation — such as a name to cast or a tag to print — please double-check spelling and details before adding to your basket, as we cast exactly what's submitted. If you notice a mistake, contact us as soon as possible after ordering, before your item has been made.
Placing an order
Adding an item to your basket isn't a contract. A contract is formed once your payment is confirmed by Stripe and we accept your order. We'll treat obvious pricing or listing errors as not binding, and will contact you if this affects your order.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£). Payment is taken securely via Stripe at checkout; we accept the card and wallet options (such as Apple Pay and Google Pay) shown on Stripe's payment page. We never see or store your full card details ourselves.
Delivery
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only. Delivery timeframes shown at checkout (e.g. "3–5 working days" or "1–2 working days") are estimates, not guarantees, and can occasionally be affected by things outside our control.
Cancellations and returns
See our separate Returns & Refunds Policy for full detail — the short version is that personalised items can't be cancelled simply because you've changed your mind, but every item is covered if it arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described.
Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or acting negligently, but we're not liable for losses that aren't foreseeable, or for indirect/business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it — for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Complaints
If anything about your order isn't right, contact us at [add your contact email] and we'll do our best to put it right.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version shown at the time you order is the one that applies to that order.

Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with what arrives. What applies depends on whether your item is personalised.
If something's faulty, damaged, or wrong
This applies to every item we sell, personalised or not. If your order arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, contact us at [add your contact email] with your order reference and, if possible, a photo. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the issue and how soon after delivery you get in touch. We'll cover return postage in these cases.
Change of mind — personalised items
Most of what we make is personalised to you: cast letters with a chosen name, and party favours with a printed tag. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, personalised items are exempt from the standard 14-day "change of mind" cancellation right, because they're made specifically for you and can't be resold. This doesn't affect your rights if the item is faulty — see above.
Change of mind — non-personalised items
Our Themed Sets (and any Favours ordered without a printed tag name) aren't personalised, so the standard rules apply: you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason, without needing to give one. To do this:
- Contact us at [add your contact email] within 14 days of delivery to let us know
- Send the item back to us within a further 14 days, unused and in its original condition
- You'll need to cover the cost of return postage, unless the item is faulty
Refunds
Once we've received a valid return, or agreed a faulty-item refund, we'll refund you via Stripe to your original payment method, normally within 14 days. Delivery charges are refunded in full for faulty items, or at the basic delivery rate for change-of-mind returns (we won't refund any upgrade you paid for faster shipping).
Any questions
If you're ever unsure whether something qualifies, just ask — [add your contact email].
